Link Building. How long does it take to show?

Could some one please tell me how long does it take for links to show up in a links search.

I made a few links to my weebsite about 2 months ago, I can go to the websites where I made the links and click through to my website, but the links still do not show up in any seo package

    Hello David,

    It really depends on where you embed your link.
    If you put your anchor at a site where it has no PR, a brand new site for example then even after 6 months nothing will happen.
    If you put you link at some High PR then you can see the result pretty soon.
    One way that most people do in this day is to embed the anchor within social media, the result comes out very fast too, it might show up in few hours.

    If you are interested in High PR directories, here is a list for you to peruse.
    But no matter what kind of link creation, takes time.
