Is it OK to show adsense on video-linking websites?

There are some websites that do not host videos themselves, but only link to the videos posted on youtube, dailymotion, etc. (e.g., links to TV shows / movies) . Technically, these websites do not host the the illegal content so maybe they can get away with that. However, many of them show google adsense ads on their webpages. Given the popularity of these websites, google probably knows about them. My question is :
"Isn’t it against the adsense TOS to post ads on these websites?"

HONESTLY – Instead of hankering for Adsense Dollars there are many more sites that pay you a GOOD amount of money.

I think it’s a damn good way to make a Decent Income with your Website or Blog.
I am expecting a payment of £55.00 with 11 websites I have this month.
I would think not, looking at the current bulk of the web, most sites that do have illegal content on them, have adsense stuff all ready tagged in. If you are unsure contact the ad host and ask them what they think, they want the ad’s on the sites, so they will work with you.
