How do i stop Yahoo opening in a new tab on internet explorer everytime i open my browser? Thanks?

Recently opened a Yahoo account and since then every time i open internet explorer Yahoo opens up in the second tab. If i close the tab every time i navigate to a new page the tab opens. Does anyone know how to turn this feature off?

    change ur home page from internet setting

    go to tools then internet options and on the home page section make sure you do not have more than 1 url listed in the box.

    Go to "Tools"/Internet Options/"Tabs"-Settings/Untick….Enable Tabbed Browsing….Press OK…………Hey….You’re done mate.
    I’m good eh!!! Don’t listen to the rubbish that is going about, just do what I said and you’ll be OK.
